OPEN CALL - DANCE FILM - SELF TAPE INVITATIONS.

Juriaan Booij from the Ridley Scott Creative Group is seeking a choreographer, three dancers and four supporting artists living in the borough of Newham, Tower Hamlets, Hackney or Waltham Forest to collaborate on a short dance film project. 

Depending on your role, rehearsals will last approximately one to five days and will commence in January 2026 and will shoot over a 2 day period in May 2026. 

The dance will be experimental and conceptual in nature. We’re open to exploring a range or fusion of styles — from modern and contemporary to freestyle and street dance. The piece will centre on a duet, where the chemistry between the dancers and the emotional depth they bring to the screen will be crucial to the authenticity of the narrative. This aspect will be developed in close collaboration with the choreographer.
